(SNEI) announced that PlayStation Network (PSN S) will be the premium entertainment service brand which encompasses games, TV, video and music services. (SCE) and Sony Network Entertainment International LLC. With so many entertainment services available, Sony having a unified brand makes a whole lot of sense these days.
So, across all compatible devices in all regions, the PlayStation Network will encompass the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Music, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Plus, PlayStation Now and soon, PlayStation Vue. In other words, Video Unlimited and Music Unlimited are being officially rebranded as PlayStation Video (PS Video) and PlayStation Music (PS Music), and they are switching up the services a bit. Sony’s silly Sony Entertainment Network branding initiative is finally coming to a close in favor of a much more familiar, and appropriate, “PlayStation Network” brand.
